Our Story
Hi! I am Jennifer Laidlaw, a local artist here on Pender Island. For years my husband, Steve and I loved visiting the gulf Islands. The natural beauty and welcoming people of Pender Island convinced us that this is where we want to live. We bought our dream home here in 2020, and have since built our little studio where we create stained glass art. We produce panels of all sizes and styles, including custom work. Many of our projects are inspired by nature, including birds and insects and mobiles incorporating driftwood and shells. We also have a wide selection of suncatchers to hang in windows. Our Art
For years, we have loved being creative. In the year 2000, we made our first stained glass panel, and since then our passion has grown. We now love creating everything from panels to sun catchers and sculptures, a lot of which are inspired by the nature of the Southern Gulf Islands. Our art can be seen and purchased at local Pender Island markets, at our studio during the Fall Art Studio Crawl facilitated by Ptarmigan Arts.
